Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark with Strawberries & Chocolate Chips

There is something so satisfying about having a healthy frozen treat waiting in the freezer when a sweet craving hits.

I love making this Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark because it is incredibly simple, made with just a handful of ingredients, and tastes like a refreshing dessert without feeling heavy.

The combination of creamy Greek yogurt, sweet strawberries, and rich dark chocolate chips creates the perfect balance of flavors and textures. It is naturally high in protein, easy to customize, and makes a fantastic summer snack for both kids and adults. Here at home, everyone loves grabbing a piece straight from the freezer on a hot summer day.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Freeze Time: 2–4 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes to 4 hours 10 minutes
Yield: About 12 pieces, depending on the size of each piece.

Ingredients

For Yogurt Bark

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt (500g)
  • 2 tablespoons honey

For the Toppings

  • 5 medium strawberries, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons dark chocolate chips, or more to taste

Instructions

1. In a medium bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and honey. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. The honey adds just the right amount of sweetness while keeping the yogurt creamy and refreshing.

2. Line a baking sheet, tray, cutting board, or large freezer-safe plate with parchment paper.

3. Pour the yogurt mixture onto the parchment paper and spread it into a rectangle using the back of a spoon or spatula. You can make the bark as thick or thin as you prefer. Mine was about ½ inch thick, which creates a creamy texture once frozen.

4. Sprinkle the chopped strawberries and dark chocolate chips evenly over the yogurt mixture. Gently press the toppings into the yogurt so they stay in place while freezing.

5. Place the tray directly into the freezer and freeze for 2 to 4 hours, or until completely firm. The exact freezing time will depend on the thickness of your yogurt bark.

6. Remove the bark from the freezer and use a sharp knife to cut it into pieces, or simply break it apart with your hands for a rustic look.

7. Serve immediately or store the pieces in a freezer-safe bag or container for later.

Make It Your Own

One of my favorite things about this Frozen Greek Yogurt Bark is how easy it is to customize.

You can swap the honey for your favorite sweetener, use vanilla or strawberry yogurt for extra flavor, or mix in different fruits like blueberries, raspberries, or chopped mango.

If you want a little more crunch, try adding granola, shredded coconut, or chopped nuts on top. You can also replace the dark chocolate chips with mini chocolate chips or white chocolate chips.

It is a simple recipe that works with whatever you have on hand, making it easy to enjoy a slightly different version every time you make it.

This recipe is delicious as written, but it is also a great way to use whatever fruit you already have on hand.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the freezer for up to 2 months.

Let the bark sit at room temperature for 1 to 2 minutes before eating for the best texture.

Perfect for summer snacking, meal prep, healthy desserts, and high-protein treats.

For the creamiest texture, use full-fat Greek yogurt.
