A fresh and creamy strawberry banana smoothie made with yogurt, almond milk, ripe banana, and fresh strawberries. Perfect for breakfast, snack time, or a quick summer drink.
There is something so simple and comforting about a strawberry banana smoothie, especially when it turns out creamy, fresh, and naturally sweet. This is one of those easy recipes I love making when I want something quick, light, and delicious without needing many ingredients.

The ripe banana makes it naturally sweet and smooth, the strawberries add that fresh fruity flavor, and the yogurt gives it a creamy texture that feels a little more filling. I used almond milk for a lighter touch, but you can easily use regular milk or any plant-based milk you already have at home.
It is perfect for breakfast, an afternoon snack, a quick summer drink, or anytime you want something fresh and easy that still tastes like a treat.

Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana, sliced
- 6 fresh strawberries, washed and hulled
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt or Greek yogurt
- 1 cup almond milk, regular milk, or another plant-based milk
- Ice, to taste
Instructions
1. Wash the strawberries well, remove the green tops, and cut them in half if they are large. Peel the ripe banana and slice it into smaller pieces so it blends more easily.
2. Place the strawberries, sliced banana, yogurt, almond milk, and ice into the blender.

3. Begin blending on low speed to help the fruit and liquid combine without splashing.
4. Gradually increase the blender speed and blend until the smoothie is creamy, smooth, and evenly combined.
5. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more almond milk and blend again. If you want it thicker and colder, add a few extra ice cubes.

6. Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately while it is fresh, cold, and creamy.

Make It Your Own
One of the best things about this strawberry banana smoothie is how easy it is to adjust depending on what you have at home or how you like your smoothies.
For a thicker smoothie, use Greek yogurt and add a little less milk. You can also use frozen strawberries instead of fresh ones to make it extra cold and creamy.
If you want a sweeter smoothie, add a drizzle of honey or maple syrup, especially if your strawberries are not very sweet. For a little extra flavor, you can add a splash of vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon.
To make it more filling, blend in a spoonful of peanut butter, almond butter, chia seeds, oats, or protein powder. It is also delicious with a few extra berries, mango, or even a handful of spinach if you want to add something green without changing the flavor too much.
For a dairy-free version, use almond milk and a dairy-free yogurt.
