This Blue Coconut Lemonade Refresher is the kind of drink I love making when I want something cold, pretty, and refreshing without using anything complicated.

It has the bright citrus flavor of homemade lemonade, a soft tropical touch from coconut, a little fresh orange juice for natural sweetness, and just a small amount of spirulina to give it that beautiful blue-green color.
Everything blends together into a creamy, lightly frothy drink that feels perfect for warm days, summer afternoons, or anytime you want a simple homemade refresher that looks as good as it tastes.

Ingredients
Servings: 1 large glass, about 16 oz / 475 ml
- 1/2 cup homemade lemonade, made with the juice of 1/2 lemon mixed with cold water
- 1 cup coconut drink, chilled
- 1/4 cup fresh orange juice
- 1/4 teaspoon green spirulina powder
- 1 pinch shredded coconut
- Ice cubes, for blending
- 2 extra ice cubes, for serving
- Shredded coconut, for garnish
- 1 lemon slice, for garnish
Instructions
1. Squeeze 1/2 lemon into a small glass and mix it with cold water until you have about 1/2 cup of homemade lemonade.
2. In a blender, add the homemade lemonade, coconut drink, fresh orange juice, green spirulina powder, a pinch of shredded coconut, and a few ice cubes.

3. Blend everything together until the drink is fully combined, smooth, and lightly frothy on top. The color should be a soft blue-green shade.
4. Add 2 ice cubes to your serving glass.
5. Pour the blended drink into the glass over the ice. Top with a little extra shredded coconut and add a lemon slice on the rim.

6. Enjoy immediately while it is cold, creamy, and refreshing.

Make It Your Own
You can easily adjust this Blue Coconut Lemonade Refresher depending on how sweet, citrusy, or tropical you want it to be.
For a sweeter drink, add a small drizzle of honey, maple syrup, or agave before blending. For a stronger lemon flavor, use a little more homemade lemonade.
If you want it creamier, add a bit more coconut drink. And if you prefer a brighter citrus taste, increase the fresh orange juice slightly while keeping the spirulina amount small so the flavor stays balanced.
